Dance On My Girl

Tonight at the deli, as we waited for our food, Big Sister asked if she could get down from her seat. Before I could answer, she slipped off her chair and began dancing to the music. She swayed, rocked, and twirled. Her arms were above her head and at her hips. She moved in the way that only a three year old can manage. I admit, part of me wanted to banish her to her seat and remind her to use her manners. But, as I glanced around the restaurant at the handful of other patrons, I thought better of it. I simply sat back and watched the show. I hope her passion for life's simple pleasures continues far beyond her childhood. Dance on my girl! Your daddy and I love getting to know you as you grow.
